GoPro is seeking a top tier candidate for the North America Sales Account Manager role. This position will be responsible for building on the existing business models as well as accounts under development. This position is a hands-on, individual contributor and strategic role focused on driving increased revenue. In addition, the Account Manager will develop strong partnerships, develop and execute integrated sales and marketing plans with strategic partners. The ideal candidate will love working with all internal counterparts in a collaborative, creative, fast paced environment and want to make an impact in the world of digital imaging and content.
What You Will Do
Exceed the Company’s ambitious growth plans in terms of both revenue growth and profitability of sales.
Ensure proper merchandising is being executed throughout all partner doors.
Find new opportunities outside of traditional retail placement.
Ensure partner relationships are strengthened and driven up throughout both organizations.
Ensure joint plans are adapted, as necessary, in line with internal and external challenges and opportunities to ensure maximum revenue and profitability.
Manage implementation of the Sales plan through collaborating with a highly professional, polished and results-orientated team.
Lead account management and joint business planning.
Lead forecasting accurate pipelines and inventory management.
Provide performance review and suggest improvements.
Ensure regular and effective communication within the company and partners.
Produce weekly and monthly activity and revenue reports.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
Skills We’re Stoked About
3-5 years of Sales Account Management roles in consumer electronics verticals or technology marketplace.
Understand Consumer Electronics and Retail requirments to determine best sales strategy for achieving company goals.
Liason between internal onjectives and customer initiatives, balancing the two for optimal results.
Maintain regular communications with Sales team and key customers to review forecasts, orders, promotions and inventory metrics.
Ability to demonstrate year-on-year sales growth under their jurisdiction.
Ability to demonstrate the ability to effect substantial positive change in a short timescale.
Ability to multi-task in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Valid drivers license and willing to travel up to 30% of your time.
College degree preferred.
