Position Description

The Channel Sales Director directs and oversees the channel sales policies, objectives, and initiatives. Sets short- and long-term channel sales strategies and evaluates effectiveness of current programs. Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. The Channel Sales Director has responsibility for sourcing, enabling, and execution of channel partners globally. Channel partners may include resellers, distributors, OEMs, and alliances. Reporting to the VP of Worldwide Sales, the Channel Director will also work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate objectives and priorities are executed within the Vera Channel business.

Where you’re contribute to our success

Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the channel sales organization. Proactively monitor and maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, documentation, and process consistency.
Setting up new channel partners and overseeing the on-boarding process.
Implementing channel marketing plans set out by the marketing team.
Working closely with sales teams within the channel partner to train and advise.
Regularly meeting with counterparts with partner organization.
Reporting on sales KPI’s within channel partners.
Working to sales and revenue targets as set by the VP WW Sales.
Feedback to the marketing team on the success of sales promotions.
Addressing customer service issues as raised by the channel partner.
Identifying and reaching out to new potential channel partners.
Working on cross selling opportunities within the organization.
How will I be measured?

We strongly believe in accountability and ownership of key metrics, across the organization. As Channel Sales Director, you will be:

Accountable for the identification of, sourcing, onboarding, and execution of channel partners as measured in ARR, time to first deal, territory management, net new logos, and more.
Responsible for the efficient allocation of technology, support, and training resources to positively impact the channel sales organization.
The owner of accurate and on-time reporting, essential for channel sales effectiveness.
Qualifications

Previous experience of driving channel sales ideally within the same product category and channel.
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners.
Strong personal network within the industry.
Driven, highly motivated and passionate about sales.
Professional sales training preferred
Direct experience with Salesforce.com preferred.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS business; knowledge and comfort with SaaS data analytics.
A high degree of flexibility, extremely organized, and detail oriented. Ability to multi-task, prioritize a variety of tasks and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and follow-through is essential.
