Technical Program Manager – 3PIP Partner onboarding

Bringing the right offers to our customers is the most important aspect of building the Groupon marketplace, and it is the mission of the 3rd Party Inventory Platform (3PIP) team.

We partner with the leading companies and brands to unlock vast supply for Groupon users in entertainment, sports, food, services and more. The integrations we build provide more advanced capabilities than ever before to Groupon and to the companies we work with.

As a Program Manager on the 3rd Party Inventory Platform (3PIP) team, you will lead exciting integration projects between Groupon and our growing list of external partners. You’ll be an integral part of a diverse and dynamic product & engineering team with a global presence. You will own the onboarding process, defining and executing on the critical steps from planning to launch. You’ll engage internal and external stakeholders of all levels and functions on a regular basis to ensure alignment and great communication throughout each project.

Job Responsibilities

Work closely with Product, Engineering, Operations and Business Development teams to ensure project goals and expectations are defined and delivered

Define processes and identify best practices for onboarding new partners onto the Groupon platform; apply your learnings and spread knowledge to others

Consistently track and ensure progress against milestones, while managing changes to existing schedules and commitments and providing regular updates

Own communication with multiple individuals and teams across companies, and proactively drive conversations to effectively resolve blockers

Coordinate and run meetings with stakeholders, identifying and prioritizing action items


Bachelor's degree in a computer science/technical discipline preferred

3+ years of experience working with Engineering, Product and Operations teams in planning, tracking and launching software development projects

Ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment, while keeping an eye on details

Demonstrated bias for action, sense of urgency and ability to motivate others

Solid understanding of business processes and web technologies

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work effectively with individuals of all levels and functions
