IT Security Analyst III

Job Description / Skills Required

Core Responsibilities:

Responsible for oversight and management of information security programs and processes required to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data with Groupon’s proprietary systems and applications;
Provide technical security expertise across a broad range of environment technologies while focusing on specific day-to-day tasks such as vulnerability management and mitigation;
Perform technical security assessments against internal and external facing systems using open source and commercial tools;
Implement new security technologies as required to support business environment;
Work closely with senior leadership teams to improve Groupon security framework;
Assist development and maintenance of security polices and procedures;
troubleshoot issues affecting the security of Groupon’s computing resources;
Tokenizer and Detokenizer design and configuration, to include maintenance of security systems used to segment sensitive data within a data center;
Akamai Kona Site Defender, to include implementation at a global level including design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the system;
Anti-Fraud Prevention Forensics, to include auditing activities, classifying risks, implementing security controls, creating procedures/policies, and conducting anti-fraud and anti-phishing activities;
Evaluate internal IT controls, operational activities, and compliance requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 4 years of related experience.

Experience must have included any level of experience in:

Tokenizer and Detokenizer design and configuration, to include maintenance of security systems used to segment sensitive data within a data center;
Akamai Kona Site Defender, to include implementation at a global level including design, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the system;
Anti-Fraud Prevention Forensics, to include auditing activities, classifying risks, implementing security controls, creating procedures/policies, and conducting anti-fraud and anti-phishing activities;
Evaluate internal IT controls, operational activities, and compliance requirements.
