Senior Trainer EMEA Goods

Job Description / Skills Required

Core Responsibilities:

Develop, obtain sign off and implement the appropriate format for training and support materials – both for classroom and e-learning training

Updating existing training materials and develop new training materials in the new format

Scope, design and develop the annual training program and content for EMEA Goods to help meet the business needs and aid the growth of our organisation

Deliver the annual training program including Buyer Induction and system training.

Evaluate the training effectiveness and adoption rates

Identify, coach and develop a network of Training Champions to help deliver the EMEA wide training

Act as lead for the implementation of the new Groupon Learning Management System for EMEA Goods

Establish and agree format, content and structure for the Knowledge Base

Ensure Knowledge Base reflects latest SOP’s as signed off by the Business.

Ensure Knowledge Base and Training Materials are aligned and updated

Migrate content from old Knowledge Base to new Learning Management System once implemented

Co-ordinate the creation of the knowledge base for any new content in agreement with the key stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree desirable
CIPD qualification highly desirable or working towards Work Experience:
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Experience of working successfully in a matrix environment Skills, Competencies and Required Knowledge (Certifications, Languages, Training)
A successful candidate should understand Groupon’s USP’s and the e-commerce competitive landscape
Outstanding communication skills (required)
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and employee motivation
Highly client focused; ability to assess client needs and create impactful, relative solutions. Self-driven, requiring minimal supervision
Capable of achieving results both independently and as part of a team
Enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels, whilst appreciating the commercial demands on the business clients
A "roll up your sleeves", "can-do" attitude and desire to be part of building a winning team, combined with a genuine thirst for knowledge
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Advanced knowledge of Google docs, sheets, forms & slides (in particular Sheets)
Solidly proven organisational and time management skills
Advanced knowledge of Salesforce an advantage
