Job Description / Skills Required
The Financial Analyst will play an important role in the global forecasting and planning process. He or she will be expected to produce timely, accurate reporting and customized financial analysis to support management decisions. The Financial Analyst will be a key member on the Global FP&A team based in Chicago headquarters.
Assist in the preparation and consolidation as part of the global FP&A cycle including budgeting & forecasting, variance reviews, etc.
Understand country and category business drivers. Monitor performance and KPIs
Work closely with regional finance, and other members of the global finance organization
Construct financial models to evaluate pro-forma scenario planning
Enhance existing reporting and tooling capabilities in financial systems
Ad-hoc deep dives on pressing business issues
Bachelor's degree and at least 2+ years experience in Accounting or Finance
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Systems savvy – comfort with data architectures, ERP systems, SQL a plus
Highly analytical and detail oriented
Experience in multi-national company operating across geographies a plus
Familiarity with ecommerce or retail environment a plus
Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment
