Merchandising Specialist – TTD/GrouponLive

The Merchandising Specialist will support the GrouponLive and Things To Do (TTD) merchandising and inventory management team, project manage, and coordinate efforts among various internal teams in order to successfully execute the overall GrouponLive/TTD merchandising strategy.

Responsibilities:

Directly manage the coordination, scheduling, and placement of campaigns within 120+ markets
Devise market-specific strategies to optimize deal/campaign performance, including targeting to adjacent markets
Work closely with dedicated Editorial team to ensure effective launch of scheduled opportunities
Support project management of multi-market tours / campaigns to ensure effective execution of high profile deals and inventory
Coordinate with the Central Merchandising team in providing appropriate inventory to support merchandising campaigns to best maximize exposure for deals
Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure effective campaign management and execution
Work closely with dedicated Sales Representatives, facilitating deals from creation to going live on the site, consulting on performance concerns, structure, issues, and addressing merchant concerns
Monitor deal performance utilizing Tableau dashboards and Teradata queries to measure conversion, exposure and identify trends
Essential Job Functions:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take both direction and initiative, portray sense of urgency and remain flexible in a changing environment
Analytic expertise to apply to evaluation of deal structure and justification of placement and merchandising
Ability to pivot quickly and change course based on business performance / business needs
Strong communication skills for coordination across departments and dedicated sales/account management teams. This role requires interaction with a lot of strong personalities; the ability to be firm, but courteous and professional at all times, is critical
Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years professional experience in operations, analytics, and/or related field
Familiarity and understanding of Salesforce to build custom campaign reports, or other category reports (both production and consumption skills)
Intermediate level of Excel experience
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Capacity for creative problem solving and strategic thinking
Familiarity and understanding of Tableau and Teradata is preferred
E-commerce experience a plus
