Proactively source, pitch and close high value deals that feature on Groupon Getaways platform and newsletters, continually expanding the range of travel offers for our subscribers

• Present Groupon as the unique distribution channel for hotel rooms, overnight stays and packaged travel
• Achieve and exceed weekly and monthly targets
• Ownership of the supply and coverage of features from your specified region or country
• Prospect and develop a rich and varied pipeline of campaigns to fulfil demand across EMEA and create bespoke campaigns for leading chains and groups throughout the territory
• Construct and negotiate best in class offers that delight our customers and benefit our merchants
• Work closely with the Account Management teams to ensure merchants receive industry leading support and care
• Work with revenue managers to ensure maximum exposure for your properties and campaigns
• Engage in face to face sales meetings where necessary and take part in product familiarisation visits and site inspections
• Proven track record of new business acquisition and sales within the travel or flash deal environment
• Knowledge of the hotel distribution landscape and an understanding of digital distribution in particular, including channel managers, CRS providers and extranets
• High degree of knowledge of the travel landscape at the moment with a grasp on trends and issues impacting the industry
• Highly driven, is self-motivated, target orientated, resilient and tenacious and has a flexible approach, thrives under pressure and enjoys working in a fast paced environment
