Working out of our Sydney headquarters, our award winning National Partnership Sales Division continues to establish Groupon as an integral marketing partner of iconic leading global brands and chains across Australia and New Zealand. These brands not only shift the needle towards team and company revenue goals, but they are also a major source of subscriber activation and engagement.

Owning the relationship with our key business partners, you will source new business and develop long-term relationships with our existing partners. In this pivotal role, you’ll target C- level and Senior Marketing decision makers in order to secure the best national campaigns for our subscriber base. Using a distinctive consultative approach you will build long term relationships that continue to grow and maintain Groupon’s position as a market leader as well as grow overall revenue and market share.

A bit about the role:

Proactively business develop new and existing business across leading National categories; including but not limited to: major restaurant chains, cinemas, major attractions, retail brands, leisure, beauty, wellness, healthcare and services
Build your own pipeline by drawing upon established networks, relationship and your independent research
Present Groupon as the unique, captivating and leading opportunity for national brands to acquire new customers, overcoming objections to ensure a mutually beneficial deal is closed in line with our win-win-win philosophy
Creatively identify new brands and campaigns to be featured, continually expanding the range of innovative and breakthrough offers for our subscribers
Construct and negotiate offers that meet expectations of business partners and Groupon and are attractive for consumers
Achieve set KPI targets for monthly and quarterly sales revenue and number of campaigns featured per month
A bit about you:

Prior B2B enterprise level sales experience, managing and growing a portfolio or category of National brands and chains
Hands on experience selling both face-to-face and cold calling, having developed relationships with national brands and chains
Experience having previously worked in advertising, media, online marketing, ecommerce sales and/or hospitality or retail sales is an added advantage but not essential
Demonstrated experience in a fast paced, target driven sales environment with evidence of consistent and current success
Demonstrate a high degree of diligence and accountability, with evidence of personal success in achieving goals
An outgoing personality and a great sense of humour
