Software Test Engineer, Mobile

Job Description / Skills Required

Core Responsibilities:

Work with Product Managers and Designers to ship Groupon’s Consumer Applications
Strategize, plan, document and execute on the testing of Android and iOS apps
Design and implement test strategies that will be utilized across multiple test and development teams
Assist with automation of test cases to help expand the automation suite
Act as the voice of Test in product teams
Analyze product requirement and technical design documentation and translate them into detailed test cases
Find and document software defects including detailed description, logs and crash reports
Perform root cause analysis of software issues to help developers review and fix issues
Demonstrate thorough understanding and knowledge of software quality assurance processes and techniques through first hand experience on iOS, Android
Perform scripting to automate test cases and maintain and expand the automation test suite
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or foreign academic equivalent plus 5 years related experience, including 3 years experience testing in the Mobile Application Space.

Experience must have included any level of experience in:
