Together with the VP EMEA LOCAL business, drive major improvements to Groupon’s LOCAL business strategy and operations.
Full accountability for delivering top and bottom line results.
Introduce, roll-out across EMEA and improve, sales operations processes, reporting and analytics that will enable significant business growth.
Sales Operations areas of responsibility to include inbound, inside and field sales, account management, KAM, inventory management and training.
Develop an org structure and performance metrics blueprint for in-country LOCAL business operations and drive alignment, across EMEA.
Work with EMEA Country Managers and their local Sales operations teams to introduce, standardise and optimise go-to-market operational processes.
Identify areas for automation and partner with revenue management, finance, marketing and technology teams to prioritise, scope and implement.
Anticipate and implement process improvements based on new sales and product initiatives, consumer and customer feedback. Track and monitor progress and evolve, as necessary.
Develop and scale the Training function, across EMEA.
Support EMEA sales leadership with thought leadership and execution of sales targeting, reporting, commission plans, and SPIFFs.
Leverage NA or industry best practices to continuously improve operations.
Own major strategic initiatives: new product launches, transformational projects, global organisational alignment initiatives, or similar.
The successful candidate will report to our Vice-President EMEA LOCAL business.
This role requires a dynamic individual who can simplify complex problems, draw insights quickly and make decisions rapidly, one who has incredible analytical and problem solving skills, and the ability to influence and manage change across multiple departments, geographies and conflicting priorities.
You should be an effective communicator and have strength in building strong Sales Operations functions and teams.
