Location: Flexible (Manila) – This role requires proximity to an office location with the flexibility to work from home.
The Role
GoPro is seeking a top-tier candidate to take on the responsibilities of Accounts Payable Accountant as part of our established team in the GoPro Manila office. This person will have day-to-day responsibility for full cycle Accounts Payable. The candidate must have excellent systems skills and hands-on experience with a world-class ERP system.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for full cycle AP, including vendor invoice processing and employee expense reports
- Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval distribution prior to payment
- Ensure accuracy of account and department coding for invoices
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Process 2-3 way P.O. matching invoices, high volume
- Process payment requests
- Respond to all vendor inquiries
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
- Assist in month end closing and accruals
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Assist with other projects as needed
Skills We’re Excited About
- BS/BA in Finance/Accounting or equivalent major
- 2+ years of experience in finance
- Excellent systems skills and hands-on experience with a world class ERP system – NetSuite a plus
- Prior experience with working in Shared Service Center in support of multinational office
- Accurate and speed of data entry required
- Ability to push through roadblocks and processing problems for quick resolution
- Strong organization and follow through
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Works quickly with a sense of urgency
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
