Responsibilities
- Design/write test plan for features and solutions
- Manual and automated testing in python of Networking Software
- Triage and reproduce internal and customer found issues
- Automate test cases and integrate into regression framework
- Peer review of Test Plans, Automation Code, Feature Specs and other engineering documents
- Design/build test network topologies for performance, stability and scalability
- Plan, schedule, track and periodically report the project status all the way to customer delivery
- Improve performance/scale of existing features/solutions
- Mentor new hires
Education/Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent degree ((Graduation in 2021))
- College level coursework: Data structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems
- College level coursework: Computer Networks, Network Routing & Switching Protocols, Network Infrastructure
- Strong Proficiency in Python
- A passion for building the next generation computer networks
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas in a precise manner
- Strong time management skills and delivering software projects with teams
- Industry/research/internship experience in the area of computer networking/operating systems
- Open source contributions in the areas of networking/operating systems/infra
