Are you a marketer that has a passion for generating pipeline and working with sales?   The ideal candidate for the Manager, Field Marketing role will have experience partnering with sales to bring local marketing programs and playbooks to life to generate & accelerate pipeline in targeted regions.  As a critical member of the  team, you’ll be in charge of executing regional marketing plans and measure the impact in alignment with sales growth goals.  

Success in this role is someone who has a strong background in demand generation paired with an understanding of sales strategies and alignment. You should have a proven track record of executing a field marketing program to  increase revenue for sales, ideally in the software industry.

 

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Partner with the field sales team to develop regional marketing plans, executing locally to achieve marketing KPIs and support sales growth objectives.
  • Be the local marketing expert by understanding local market dynamics to implement the right mix of field marketing tactics & sales playbooks.
  • Coordinate a broad group of channel owners in the assembly of tactics that come together as an integrated marketing program, including field events, direct mail, webinars, local sponsorships, targeted advertising, and email.
  • Build and nurture relationships with the regional sales team to over-communicate and gain alignment on marketing plans while ensuring proper lead follow up & outbound efforts to achieve targets. 
  • Collaborate with partner & customer marketing to target local buyers across the entire lifecycle from prospect to repeat customer. 
  • Partner with sales to arm them with the right message, content, and tools needed to activate the program strategy through their own territory planning.
  • Forecast and measure program and campaign ROI, with a focus on driving pipeline and continuous improvement.

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • 5-7 years of field marketing and demand generation experience specifically working with sales teams
  • End-to-end campaign and marketing program planning
  • Comfortable communicating at various levels of the marketing &  sales organization
  • Enjoys participating in the sales process 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a customer service focus and networking ability
  • Familiarity with working in cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization
