Are you a marketer that has a passion for working across various international markets? Do you get excited about tactics that generate sales pipeline and love working with sales?  

The ideal candidate for this role, will have experience partnering with sales to bring local marketing programs and playbooks to life to generate & accelerate pipeline in our international markets.  As a critical member of the  team, you’ll be in charge of executing local marketing plans for Canada, UK and Ireland including events, case studies and community initiatives.

Success in this role is someone who has a strong background in event marketing and demand generation paired with an understanding of sales strategies and alignment. You should have a proven track record of executing high quality events and field marketing programs to deliver leads and increase revenue for a business, ideally in the software industry.

About this roll* (Responsibilities):

  • Coordinate a broad group of channel owners in the assembly of tactics that come together as an integrated marketing program for each of our international markets, including levers like tradeshows, community events, local case studies,  webinars, local sponsorships, targeted advertising, and email.
  • Responsible for developing a best-in-class tradeshow strategy across our international markets with a specific focus on building brand awareness and engaging activations that produce qualified leads that turn into revenue.
  • Own end-to-end cross functional event program management and execution of in-person and virtual Toast community events including messaging and positioning,  logistics, staffing management, registration process, speaker selection and enablement, and reporting. 
  • Forecast field and event performance, set goals, and track budget — report on ROI, engagement, lead generation and feedback to consistently assess and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Be the local marketing expert by understanding local market dynamics to implement the right mix of field marketing tactics & sales playbooks.
  • As the team grows, the ability and willingness to expand into other parts of the field marketing program. 
  • Build and nurture relationships with the regional sales team to over-communicate and gain alignment on marketing plans while ensuring proper lead follow up & outbound efforts to achieve targets.

 

Do you have the right ingredients?* (Requirements):

  • 3-5 years of field and event marketing specifically working with sales teams
  • End-to-end campaign experience as well as event planning and execution experience
  • Comfortable communicating at various levels of the marketing &  sales organisation and across various timezones 
  • Comfortable managing multiple events and marketing programs at once
  • Enjoys planning high touch, highly visible events that generate pipeline and grow our brand presence 
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a customer service focus and networking ability
