Uhnder is looking for a Human Resources Manager. The ideal candidate has a passion for people, values building relationships, and enhancing the company culture. This position will be a part of a rapidly growing global organization. Candidate will have broad experience in the following functional areas: human resources, immigration, HRIS, payroll, recruiting and benefits. In addition, the HR Manager will have the opportunity to assist in the implementation of a variety of new HR processes and programs. This position will report to the Director of HR and work site is in Austin Texas.


Essential Functions

Human Resources/HRIS

· Partner in the on-boarding process with management to ensure New Hire Orientation is complete and continuously improves the experience for new hires

· Assist Internal Recruiter in creating job descriptions and posting positions on various sites.

· Ensure proper maintenance of confidential employee information; HRIS data entry, maintenance, tracking new hire data and retention information

· Actively participate in employment engagement activities

· Develop dashboards for functional roles throughout the organization



· Work with hiring managers and prospective candidates to drive interview processes; assist in scheduling interviews and supporting offers for employment

· Ensure compliance of applicant tracking data

· Participate in workforce planning and strategy



· Process the monthly and bi-weekly payroll of US sites and multiple foreign entities

· Work with PEO on all payroll issues

· Ensure the accuracy of salary changes, bonus payments etc.

· Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer questions for employees when needed

· Work with PEO in ensuring that the company is compliant with all new legislative laws regarding Payroll and taxes across all states and federal agencies



· Assist immigration attorney by supporting the preparation of visa petitions

· Gather documentation from employees; review and check for accuracy

· Provide guidance on non-immigrant petitions, change of status petitions, and permanent resident petitions and applications to management and employees.

· Correspond with Outside Counsel weekly



Bachelor’s degree and 5-7+ years of human resource experience

Must have previous experience in payroll and recruiting

Basic HRIS knowledge required, implementation of an HRIS preferred

Experience in immigration helpful
