We’re looking for a passionate intern to join our IT team. The IT intern will provide direct technical assistance and support to Aera Employees, Contractors & Customers for network, hardware, and software issues.  This role will be based in our Pune office.


    • Respond to user requests, troubleshoot problems, and help develop solutions
    • Support Laptop hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software
    • Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needsIdentify and report system issues to vendors. Monitor and test resolution of those issues sent to vendors
    • Record activities, solutions, and other responses to requests for service
    • Contribute to Aera’s technical documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development
    • Develop and provide user training for basic hardware and software use
    • Managing & maintaining assets inventory which includes keeping the record up to date on a day-to-day basis for all asset movement (In / out / in-stock / faulty status) working with a vendor for faulty assets repair
    • Work with the HR team to have forecasting on new hires and maintain sufficient stock with spare laptops
    • Coordinate with the IT and People team globally

About You

    • A positive attitude and a passion to learnBE in Computer Science/IT/ Electronics & Communications
    • Can start immediately and available for a full time internship, must be available for 6 months minimum
    • Exceptional customer service skills, solid troubleshooting skills, ability to work well in a team environment
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
    • Must have awareness of the PC industry’s current and emerging technology trends and direction, as well as a keen interest in computer-based information systems and technology
    • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems
