What you'll do
Come join our managed services operations! As a Production Strategist, you will be directly involved in sales cycle of new customers, managing existing projects and creating strategy for long term key customers.  You will work with a range of customer stakeholders and internal functions, including solutions architects, engineers, product, linguist and project management teams to implement and maintain the optimal service delivery framework for our customers. 
As a senior member of the team, you will drive our service delivery strategy with Lilt's executive team. You will regularly consult with our key customers to measure and evaluate performance against Key Performance Indicators and SLAs, effectively managing and mitigating change and other program risk areas, trouble-shooting issues, identifying opportunities for enhancing our service offering, and driving the required solutions.  
This position will be based out of our Washington DC office and employees will be expected to come into the office in a hybrid capacity.

Localization Program Management Scope:

      • Scope, design and implement the optimal Services Management framework for new and existing customers to deliver operational excellence.
      • Work with Lilt’s product and engineering teams to incorporate the necessary services’ needs into the product roadmap, along with the respective business case(s) and estimated ROI.
      • Consult and work closely with a range of customers to understand their business needs and align Lilt’s SLAs and KPIs to measure, achieve and exceed these.
      • Coordinate and execute proof of concept translations in conjunction with Account Executive and Solution Architect support, ensuring that the service delivery element meets the customer’s planned quality expectations and business needs.
      • Work with internal teams across Sales, Customer Success, Product and Engineering to drive program strategy and execution.
      • Support and manage a team of project managers to: manage translators to execute and deliver multiple continuous multilingual projects across various domains; coordinate and monitor projects from start to delivery; resolve any issues and bugs; meet customer SLAs and provide excellent customer service.
      • Extensive reporting and analytical capabilities to monitor and control performance against KPIs & SLAs, evaluating trends and areas for improvement. 
      • Identifying factors impacting performance of the services team, creating remediation plans to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement to meet required service delivery standards.

Skills and Experience Needed:

      • 5+ years localization project management education and/or experience
      • 3+ years senior localization project management  or strategic localization function experience
      • Four-year degree from a university
      • Communication skills: ability to build relationships and drive cross-functional collaboration
      • Business acumen & solution-oriented thinking
