We’re looking for a talented Manager of Engineering to join our global engineering team and to build an elite team of engineers in Pune. As Manager, Engineering, you will recruit, onboard and manage a team of rock star software engineers. Additionally, you will be instrumental in the development and architecture of our enterprise cloud platform. You will collaborate closely with our architects, designers, and product managers to influence product direction and functional requirements, and deliver complex high performing, high quality, scalable software products and APIs.

    • Hire and lead an elite team of 10-15 Frontend engineers. Role will entail 20% hands-on development; 80% managerial duties
    • Keep development team on track through agile/scrum process
    • Lead project planning and prioritization
    • Work with the team to ensure sufficient processes and tools are in place to meet the requirements of the business and customers
    • Collaborate multi-functionally as a catalyst in all phases of the development life-cycle, partnering to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality product
    • Ensure that every member of the team is delivering at an extraordinary level
    • Participate in design, architecture and code reviews
    • Conduct performance evaluations and one-on-one meetings with team members
    • Demonstrate strong personal values and a commitment to our mission and customers

About You

    • 10+ years of UI development experience with a proven track record of delivering great software
    • 2+ years in leadership position with people management experience within a dynamic, start-up environment
    • Good hands-on development experience working with the ReactJS and Redux 
    • Must be strong on JavaScript(ES6+) and JavaScript Object Model
    • Experience with CSS, HTML5, OOExperience in D3, FusionCharts, NodeJS, Jasmine and back-end technology is a plus
    • An ability to write code for responsive UI and implement common widgets like Tabular Grid, Pivot Grid and Charts
    • Have a passion for quality and writing clean, solid, readable code that scales and performs well
    • A firm grasp of Computer Science fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis
    • An urge to collaborate with other architects, designers, product managers and software developers to influence product direction and functional requirements
    • Ability to coach and collaborate inside and outside the team – You enjoy working closely with others, teaching, and learning, and are comfortable showing off your work
