We’re looking for an experienced partner marketer to support building Toast’s Local Partner Program. You’ll be part of the broader Demand Generation marketing team and responsible for driving customer referrals and ultimately wins (read new Toast customers) through a strategic growth channel, our partner ecosystem. You’ll work cross-functionality with other members of the Partner Marketing team, Business Development, Sales Leadership, Sales Enablement, and partners themselves to develop and execute against robust, go-to-market strategies to drive bi-directional referrals (leads). 

You will support the growth of our audience of local partners, who number in the thousands, and work together to help restaurants thrive. You will drive partner sourced leads and wins, as well as build programs and incentives that help our partners succeed and grow. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with other members of the Partner Marketing team, as well as Customer Marketing, Business Development, Sales Leadership, Sales Enablement, and more including partners themselves.

 

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Responsible for acquiring and scaling the impact of our network of local partners, turning them into Toast ambassadors and customer referrers. 
  • Build and execute go-to-market strategies, sales enablement and playbooks to support the evolution of our local partner referral program
  • Identify the secret sauce for connecting and activating both Toast’s sales reps and our local partners to encourage networking and bi-directional lead flow in the field
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the sales funnel, personas, use cases, competitive landscape to inform program incentives, campaigns, and marketing asset development
  • Work with Business Development to build new opportunities with local partners that will advance Toast’s GTM objectives
  • Work in a high-growth company alongside a talented bench of fun and friendly marketers – with tremendous career growth and upside

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Experience running indirect/ channel marketing programs 
  • Have a track record of launching and executing impactful go-to-market strategies and tactics
  • Experience enabling and incenting sales organizations
  • Seasoned marketer with experience across partners, field, digital, and content
  • Excel at building relationships internally at Toast and externally with our partners
  • Thrive in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments

 

Special sauce (Nice-to-haves)

  • Experience scaling PRM or affiliate tools, like Impartner or Impact
  • Experience developing account based marketing and/or B2B lifecycle campaigns
  • Familiarity with data analysis and tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and Looker 
  • Prior experience working in the restaurant industry
