Toast’s Restaurant Product Team is looking for a product manager to drive forth a user-experience centric roadmap for a critical piece of the restaurant operations workflow: Cash & Closeout.  As the Product Manager, you will spearhead initiatives that will deliver a best-in-class solution for managing cash and end-of-day reconciliation. In this role, you will need to understand the truth of the business, and innovate on existing and new processes. As part of this role, you will develop a deep empathy for the needs of our restaurant customers and their guests while working with teams across Toast including Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to build and shape innovative new products and offerings. 

You will help craft and execute on a roadmap driven by market fit, customer needs, and a delightful user experience. This is a high visibility role with an opportunity to make a real impact at a fast-paced and dynamic organization with phenomenal growth.    

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Learn the Toast POS (Point of Sale) product and become an expert and evangelist of the payments experience domain 
  • Manage, own, and execute on the product roadmap for cash management & closeout workflows and features, and broadly communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Partner with Engineering, UX (User Experience), and operational teams to design, launch and support new features
  • Write detailed user stories and product specifications in order to communicate requirements with Engineering teams in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Meet & correspond directly with customers and prospects regarding product feedback and feature requests
  • Define, track, and analyze metrics related to product adoption and usage
  • Drive purpose, prioritization, and clarity for your teams
  • Work closely with Product Marketing & Customer Education on Go-To-Market strategies & release plans
  • Perform market research and competitive analysis to gain insight into market trends

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Strong experience in hands-on product management and a successful track record of delivering products to market at scale
  • Proven track record of leading the development and delivery of B2B SaaS products
  • Great communication skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively on shared projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Understanding of the hospitality space and the evolving market dynamics will be considered a plus, but not required
  • Located in Ireland this role can be facilitated from Dublin or remotely across Ireland.
