About this roll* (Responsibilities)  

  • Ensuring all quality standards and procedures are maintained.
  • Planning and organizing production line schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and work rules and regulations, and departmental housekeeping standards
  • Ensuring that all production line personnel are properly trained to perform essential duties as necessary.
  • Communicating out of spec results to appropriate personnel and assisting in investigations as necessary.
  • Training and monitoring of new and existing employees in the processes and methods required to achieve the company’s highest standards
  • Acting as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems regarding production or quality
  • Assist production line reps in problem solving techniques.
  • Continuous improvement and development through leadership
  • Initiates and implements new methodologies, process and procedures

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • Proven people manager who can motivate staff and colleagues on an individual and team level.
  • Strong ability to work cross functionally
  • Hands on experience in building and maintaining process control systems
  • Strong communication and analytical skills with a laser focus on attention to detail
  • Ideal industry experience: electromechanical or semiconductor
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant supervisory or management work experience and overall operations familiarity
  • Experience with ERP, WMS and Carrier systems (UPS, FedEx)
  • Basic math skills and/or aptitude.
  • Computer experience and aptitude.
  • 3 years with direct supervision of a manufacturing group
