Job Overview:

 

The Netsuite QA Engineer designs, engineers, and maintains a full suite of Netsuite testing solutions and QA processes, supporting a fast paced Development team. Acts as a subject matter expert for system health and QA best practices, contributing toward predictable delivery of quality releases.

 

What you will do:

  • Gather and analyze requirements from business teams and stakeholders to determine QA needs for all application change requests.
  • Develop and execute test plans working in an Agile environment.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and other cross-functional teams to balance priorities, risk, and schedules.
  • Generate and maintain test data.
  • Implement, improve, and maintain existing test suites in TestRail.
  • Contribute to the automated regression suite by working closely with the Automation team.
  • Lead periodic Netsuite release regression test cycles and UAT events.
  • Proactively bring issues to the attention of the team, and propose and implement solutions to solve them.
  • Partner closely with the development team to replicate and resolve issues.
  • Follow QA best practices and have a continuous improvement mindset.

Do you have the right ingredients?

  • 3+ years of experience and working knowledge on Oracle Netsuite core functionality. (Similar technologies can be Salesforce, Oracle EBS, SAP, Concur, Ariba, Coupa etc.)
  • Knowledge of process areas like Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Inventory Management, Hardware, Finance and Billing.
  • Prior experience building and executing test plans on a complex software product within an Agile environment (manual testing required, automated testing is an advantage)
  • Proven experience identifying, replicating, and communicating defects to appropriate teams, and collaborating on a resolution plan.
  • Flexibility and experience working with global teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Responsible, organised, self-disciplined, self-motivated, process oriented, able to work with little or no supervision.
