Job Description
You will be responsible for building new features for the platform. You will be dealing with multiple subsystems and webservices. We are looking for talented developers who can learn new things quickly and contribute at all layers of a webproduct. Being a startup, we move fast and constantly ship new features. Responsibilities:
- Design and Develop: Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code using Noe.js,Python and Java.
- Architecture and Scalability: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions forbackend architecture and system scalability.
- Database Management: Work with various databases, optimize queries, and ensure data integrity in order to deliver high-performance backend solutions.
- API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applicatios.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, and mentor junior developers.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring the best possible performace,quality, and responsiveness of the backend applications.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software products.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for the backend codebase and APIs.
Job Requirement
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus) from a Tier- 1 college.
- Experience: 2-4 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Node.js development. We are flexible in terms of language but having Node.js experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Python, with knowledge of at least one Python web framework.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of best practices for code optimization and security.
- Having knowledge of Kubernetes and container based deployments.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to analyze complex technical problems and propose practical solutions.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Ownership: Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability for project deliverables.
