Purpose of the Role: Lead and coordinate Compensation and Benefits initiatives for Omio. Ensure alignment with company and people strategy by sourcing and implementing fit-for-purpose and future-proof solutions to attract and retain talent.
Job Description:
Be a role model of integrity and trust for the organisation and be a champion of the Omio Values.
Provide support, guidance and proposals on all compensation and benefit related matters including advising on salary levels at time of hire.
Conduct regular salary benchmarking so keep Omio’s reward approach competitive.
Manage the equity programme for Omio, including Shareworks, in collaboration with relevant Finance team colleagues.
Working with the Management Team (CxO level) and CEO on all compensation-related matters. Act as trusted advisor to the Management Team on Reward questions.
Prepare, in close collaboration with the CEO, CFO and CPO, data and presentations for Compensation Committee and Board meetings.
Support, in collaboration with peers and colleagues on the People Team, the creation of a culture of performance at Omio.
Be a proud brand-ambassador and leader at Omio
Lead, motivate and empower your direct report(s)
Use your in-depth knowledge, business acumen and passion for people to deliver projects that make Omio a Destination Employer and a better place to work for all Omionians.
What you bring to the table
Solid and proven experience of compensation and benefits / total reward approaches in global, complex organisations
Strong communication skills (in writing and verbal) with audiences of varying levels and cultural backgrounds. Fluent English is essential. Ability to positively engage with Executive Leadership; confident and astute in approach.
Structured, methodical and detail oriented
Strong and confident in using Excel / Google Sheets
Experience with Workday HCM an advantage but not essential
Strong ethics and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information
Able to establish credibility and build department accountability
Proven leadership experience, positive mindset and attitude, forward-thinking and engaging
People and budget management are essential
Experience from tech or travel industry would be advantageous
University degree in Business, Finance, Management, HR or similar an advantage
The Interview Process
You will have an introductory call with a member of the Talent Acquisition team to get to know each other. Following that, you will meet with our Chief People Officer, followed by key stakeholders from the Business areas this role will be supporting.
