Location: Flexible (San Mateo). This role offers the flexibility to work from home, within proximity to our office location in San Mateo, CA.

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for creating, driving, and executing GoPro’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) efforts. This role is both strategic and hands-on, it requires setting a vision and building close strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as executing innovative programs, events, and training.

You will play an integral role in further integrating DEIB priorities into GoPro’s strategy and culture. You are a key partner for our Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s), and together you implement events and gatherings to bring awareness and knowledge to our employees and leadership on DEIB related topics. You will establish a climate of trust that positively impacts employee engagement and feelings of inclusion.

What You Will Do

  • Design and implement GoPro’s DEIB strategy aligned with GoPro ‘s values and business goals, in close collaboration with the People Team and business stakeholders
  • Support, partner, and mentor the leads of our three Employee Resource Groups
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Team to support initiatives to attract and retain talent from under-represented and marginalized groups, and ensure a fair and smooth recruitment process for all applicants
  • Write DEIB content for our internal and external social media pages, in collaboration with our Corporate Communications team
  • Establish key metrics to assess, measure and track results of DEIB initiatives across the business
  • Develop and deliver (virtual) training for our New Hire Orientation, New Manager Training, and other DEIB topics for our employees and leaders, as well manage and distribute online training courses
  • Act as an DEIB advocate and thought leader for the People Team and other business functions, influencing our programs and practices

  • Experience and excellent knowledge of diversity and inclusion concepts and philosophies
  • Data-centric and analytical – Use industry best-practices and best available resources to aim for impactful results. 
  • A bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of professional experience and 3 years in the field of Diversity and Inclusion

The pay range for this role is between $156,400 – $211,600. Actual pay within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including your residence location and prior work experience. Equity, benefits, and a discretionary bonus may be additional forms of compensation for this role and are not included in the provided pay range.
