We are searching for an experienced and dedicated German-qualified Legal Counsel to join our team in Berlin and contribute their legal skills and business acumen to developing a truly outstanding company.  This role will play a critical role in Omio’s success, as the ultimate objective is to protect the organization's reputation and business interests, thus enabling our business and product expansion.

The role is based in our Berlin office and will report to our General Counsel.

These are your responsibilities:

Cooperate with the General Counsel in the daily management of the global legal function at Omio, act as its proxy in defined areas

Structure, implement and monitor group-wide guidelines on approval processes and governance

Consult the business teams and the management on compliance and governance topics, provide training on such topics, and support in the structuring of resilient processes

Actively monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Omio business case

Work closely with the People Team, support and advise on all aspects of German and international labor law in cooperation with outside legal counsel

Consult the business teams on new business models and draft, negotiate and conclude cooperation and strategic agreements with third parties worldwide and advise

This is what you bring to the team:

You are a fully German qualified lawyer with 3 to 5 years of relevant PQE (post-qualification experience), ideally both inhouse and in private practice

Strong people and communication skills; you can communicate effectively to different internal and external audiences

You are a strong team player as well as a self-starter and learner

Fluent in German and English; other languages are a plus

You have a sound understanding of digital businesses as well as an interest in the e-mobility market and are (internal) customer-focused at all times

You are affine to work on complex legal and regulatory matters
