THE ROLE

 

We seek a dynamic individual to serve as our Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager. We have an unrelenting drive to provide what our customers need and will love. This pivotal role will serve as a central resource and driving force for marketing Tignis’ products and services.

 

The Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager will manage the outbound aspects of our AI/ML products (product demonstrations, presentations at tradeshows and events, and all digital content such as datasheets, success stories, and whitepapers) and will be a key member of the team that ensures our customers are delighted in their customer journey with Tignis. In addition, your experience and expertise will be critical in identifying the best target customers to engage with in partnership with sales.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE

 

As our Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager, you will serve in a multi-faceted role of product demonstrations (20%), marketing communications development (50%), and product management (30%) with the following responsibilities:

 

  • Engage with prospects and customers to identify opportunities and requirements. Recommend and justify product selection and specifications for the customer. Specify and recommend new product features and enhancements.
  • Acquire market intelligence to become an expert on Tignis’ buyers and its competition.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target buyer personas and sets our products/services apart from others in the market.
  • Create and maintain a detailed go-to-market plan, including key activities to support acquiring new customers and launching new and existing products.
  • Coordinate go-to-market activities and create sales enablement tools such as whitepapers, product guides, product videos, technical briefs, presentation decks, etc. This requires a balance of hands-on materials creation and external agency and contractor resources management.

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES

 

  • 7+ years of experience in technical product marketing, product management, or process engineering in semiconductor manufacturing (direct fab experience is highly preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of software solutions for improving yield, reliability, and advanced process control.
  • Strong knowledge of technologies and solutions currently used across 200mm semiconductor manufacturing (300mm and 150mm knowledge is a plus). Knowledge of primary vendors, solutions, and industry trends is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of data science, machine learning, and AI.
  • Experience with both cloud/SaaS and on-premise software solutions.
  • Excellent and demonstrable written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create and deliver effective presentations with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be a self-starter who enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative software-focused environment.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail and work well under pressure.
  • Natural tendency to be curious, positive, and creative.
  • Team player who collaborates well with others.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

 

Tignis is headquartered in Seattle. Preference may be given to Pacific Northwest candidates; however, the role can be remote. Remote employees must be within three time zones of the US/Pacific and can be based in Canada or the US.
