The opportunity

Candidates with demonstrated additional experience can be considered for more senior technical support positions. This is primarily an individual contributor position – however, we welcome brilliance! Here is a general list of duties the position may be asked to perform and is not intended to be all-inclusive.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and objectives to develop technical solutions that align with their strategic goals. 
  • Demonstrate and articulate the value of our solutions through presentations, technical demonstrations, and proof of concept work. 
  • Lead the technical aspects of customer integration projects, ensuring a seamless transition and implementation. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues reported by customers, identifying root causes and working towards a strategic solution. 
  • Engage with customers through various channels, including phone calls and emails, maintaining a high-touch support approach. 
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations regarding response quality, timeliness, and overall experience. 
  • Maintain a professional demeanor with customers and colleagues, providing ‘wow’ level service. 

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with a top-notch customer demeanor, including patience, understanding, and empathy. 
  • Able to learn a process and then add to that process. For example, learn to use our knowledge bases and contribute to improving them. 
  • You are known for being innovative and getting things done. When you take on a project, your team knows you will handle it effectively and efficiently. 
  • Comfortable working with Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL in SaaS environments with a general understanding of a SaaS environment, including some expertise with several of the following technologies: web applications, networking, internet communication protocols, APIs and/or programming languages, file integration tools and platforms (e.g., AWS, SharePoint, Zapier), and single sign-on tools (e.g., LDAP, Azure AD, Okta). 
  • 3+ years of customer support experience for enterprise SaaS companies. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues and recommending solutions. 
  • Understanding and familiarity with working in mobile software applications based on iOS and Android. 
  • Understanding of common browsers and use of developer tools. 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or electrical engineering or demonstrated equivalent skills. 
  • Fluency in using tools like Postman, Call, etc., to test and debug APIs.
  • Comfortable with SFTP, HTTPS, JSON, CSV, Rest-like APIs, and B2B SaaS integration. 
  • Experience with Workday, ADP, and other HRIS and payroll systems is a plus.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
