Toast is looking for an analytical, technical, and motivated team player to bring our Finance and Business Services teams’ top strategic and operational objectives to life. In this role, you will be working with business leaders and collaborating with our business systems team by utilizing your technical expertise and business insights.  You will work closely with our Finance and Business Services teams to plan, design and build optimal solutions for our systems and applications. This includes managing the delivery of the solutions to ensure that they are executed with high quality, and that they drive meaningful improvement in customer and internal team experience. As an expert on how data flows in our system, you will articulate solutions that are simple and scalable, and will support your team and manager to enable our team's systems portfolio to become a trusted partner to your stakeholders.

About this roll* (Responsibilities) 

  • Work with business operations stakeholders to identify goals and challenges, including KPIs that we plan to impact
  • Be a strategic thought partner for our sales operations / business operations stakeholders and upstream go-to-market teams on how to bring their core strategies and priorities to life
  • Be the product manager for our business operations systems; build out a short-and-long term roadmap that is aligned with stakeholders and addresses their goals and KPIs
  • Identify and implement business transformation efforts by understanding the current state and designing processes and technology that get us to a desired future state
  • Help implement, improve and maintain critical business technologies that support sales operations, business operations and contracting processes, amongst others.
  • Communicate with stakeholders on key priorities, progress against those priorities, and impact of our work
  • Build and manage a team of 1-2; provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to drive high-performance and employee satisfaction

Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)

  • 6+ years of business operations, revenue operations, product management, technology consulting, or other equivalent experience.
  • Experience with, CPQ, Netsuite, and DocuSign highly preferred
  • Experience with sales operations, business operations, contracting business processes
  • Track record of success in designing, and implementing technology solutions to business problems.
  • Ability to design and create technology roadmaps across complex business processes
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with executive team; being able to distill complex technical concepts into a simple, easy-to-understand story
  • Demonstrated experience in improving processes to drive efficiency 
  • Experience in managing projects from conception to delivery 
  • Strong working knowledge of the overlap between operations, systems, and external applications
