Job Description

Technical Product Manager is working with the engineering leads in Omio’s Platform Tribe to decide what platform projects are the most impactful for the company to work on. You will work with other Product Managers and stakeholders from finance and BI to fully understand the impact of the projects and help clarify the cost of building them.

During the planning and execution phase of the project, TPM will communicate clearly the status of the projects to all relevant stakeholders. You will work closely with engineering leads on documenting the technical solution and agreeing on the quality standards with the external stakeholders.

What you bring to the table

  • You have at least 5+ years experience in a product management role, coming from a technical background/engineering background enabling, having a deep understanding of technology. 
  • Proven ability to build project plans that set the right expectations with stakeholders, and anticipate and mitigate risks. 
  • Ability to work with different stakeholders to understand what they have to deliver and by when. 
  • Proven experience and background in driving speed of execution, creating and improving processes that enable business & engineering teams use. 
  • Run ceremonies, unblock issues, give demos
  • You have an analytical mindset & approach, using data and research to prioritise your roadmap and processes
  • You have a proven track record of taking ownership, driving results, and moving with speed to implement ideas in a fast-paced tech company.
  • You have strong communications skills and you are able to share product views across multiple functions / generally work with many stakeholders, the key role is to communicate to their stakeholders (Product Tribes) how projects are progressing.
