Job Description
As Validation Lead, you will be responsible for finalizing the BOQ post-validation of drawings, BOQ and site.
Responsibilities
- Understand drawings of all disciplines (Carpentry, civil, electrical, plumbing etc) and verify quantities of each line item in the BOQ
- Identify design discrepancies and foresee execution risks and incorporate the same in costing and design changes
- Validate drawings & perform site visits and generate validation reports
- Identify and add missing/dependent line items in the BOQ
- Perform rate analysis for non-standard items and incorporating correct inputs
- Finalize BOQ after clarifying design discrepancies and a thorough validation at site
- Prepare BoM for to facilitate the release of POs to LCs/SCs
- Validating and approving Good for Construction drawings for services scope
- Ensure quality, error free and comprehensible outputs to stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to process and SOPs and SLAs
Job Requirement
- 4+ years of contracting experience in residential/commercial projects
- Ability to assess design feasibility, visualize on-site conditions and foresee execution risks
- Proactive and capable of prioritizing work
- Extremely high level of ownership
- High learning aptitude
- Diploma/ B. Tech. in Civil Engineering or Architecture
