GoPro is looking for a Workplace Operations Specialist who gets the big picture and proactively works toward solutions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating the operations of GoPro's Bucharest office to provide a productive and lively work environment.
What You Will Do:
General
- Oversee general office operations in line with policies and procedures as defined by GoPro Workplace Services
- Establish and maintain a professional and pleasant office environment by resolving problems and escalate as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a strong, positive GoPro culture.
- Work in close collaboration with site leaders, stakeholders, WPS EMEA Manager and on-site staff to maintain and enforce office processes and policies.
- Build effective working relationships with affiliated departments.
- Represent WPS in on boarding and off boarding sessions.
- Organize office and team events.
- Assist with Shipping & Receiving tasks for office.
- Lead Health & Safety Initiatives & Compliance.
- Vendors, Purchase Orders, Contracts and invoicing management for WPS related items.
- Assist WPS and Legal on Lease Administration for Bucharest office.
Facilities
- Manage all vendors related to office supplies, kitchen facilities, and other onsite operations.
- Coordinate any building issues (heating, cooling, janitorial, base building functions) with landlord property management.
- Participate in building meetings when required.
- Build and maintain relationships with core facilities vendors; develop preventative maintenance programs.
- Coordinate facilities projects and functions with the WPS EMEA Manager, and the global Workplace Services organization.
- Help create and enforce safety policies, procedures, and systems with GoPro Security Operations
- Implement and maintain workplace safety plan.
Requirements and Skills
- 3+ years recent office management experience
- Prior working experience in facilities sector/management beneficiary
- University degree or equivalent professional work experience
- Fluent in Romanian and English
- Confident, decisive, tactful and effective communications skills both externally and internally
- Ability to quickly assess situations, identify trends and gaps, develop insights and propose solutions.
- Prior experience working in organizations with multiple offices.
- Proven success working well with a variety of people at diverse levels throughout an organization.
- Demonstrated ability to generate enthusiasm and elicit results among colleagues and stakeholders.
- Highly organized and an extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to make prudent and sound decisions without direct supervision, when necessary.
- Flexibility to change course as priorities dictate.
- High ethical standards and committed to outstanding results.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
