Austin is a Materials Science PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University. He researches hydrogel and organogel soft materials and is dedicated to developing the world’s first waterproof BTE cochlear implant. Austin is also the Founder and CEO of SilkyAI, a mobile application designed to eliminate global food waste using at-home ingredients.
