Kabir entered college at age 13 through the Early Entrance Program at
Cal State LA. Since then, he has been working on research in the field of
machine learning both in industry and academia. Some highlights
include his work with Apple, CSULA’s Data Science Research Lab, the
ADALab at UCSD, and SVCL at UCSD.
Kabir has been the recipient of numerous awards including UCSD
Excellence in Research Award, CRA Outstanding Undergraduate
Researcher Honorable Mention, Jacobs School of Engineering
Fellowship, and the Halicioglu Data Science Institute Fellowship. Kabir
was a contributor to Siri’s invocation systems. Most recently Kabir
worked on the Machine Learning platform team at Netflix.
