Container Security: Why bother?
Probably not. But knowing each approach’s strengths and risks — and available options — could help ease adoption.
Such a decision requires two primary considerations:
1. Containers do not provide the same level of isolation between apps running on the same host as virtual machines provide.
2. They don’t provide the same level of isolation on the host, especially where running with root privileges.
