Omio is looking for a passionate and driven Product Quality Specialist/UAT Specialist who will sit with the Product team and play a key role in ensuring the highest level of quality for the products developed and delivered by the company. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, including end-users, to ensure that the final product meets the business requirements and is user-friendly, functional, and free of defects before it goes live. The person will be responsible for developing a test plan, conducting rigorous testing, quality checks, and assessments throughout the product lifecycle, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions. This role will report to the Tribe Product Director.
Main tasks and responsibilities:

Test Planning: Develop and maintain UAT test plans, including defining test objectives, scope, approach, and criteria for success.

Define Test Cases: Ensure behaviour of the product/feature is captured through various test cases including stress testing/edge cases.

Test Execution: Coordinate and execute UAT test cases, ensuring thorough testing of all functionalities as per the business requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and end-users to ensure that testing aligns with user expectations and requirements.

Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects found during UAT, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.

Problem Solving: Investigate and troubleshoot product quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

Reporting: Provide detailed test reports, including test progress, defect summaries, and recommendations for product improvements.

User Training: Assist in the creation of user guides and documentation for Partners

Sign-Off: Facilitate the UAT sign-off process, ensuring that all stakeholders are in agreement that the product is ready for release.
Continuous Improvement: Do continuous testing to recommend and implement improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency. Deep dive any elements identified as defective and work systematically towards a fix.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in UAT, software testing, or a related field

Technical background preferred (degree in Computer Science)
