What You'll Do:
- Shape Strategy & Scale Operations – Work closely with the CEO to define and execute Cynch.ai’s vision, operations strategy, and hiring plans.
- Lead Key Business Functions – Build and/or lead a broad set of corporate functions, including our core Tax and Accounting Service Delivery, Revenue Acquisition, Human Resources, Business Operations, Legal and Compliance, and Information Technology.
- Build & Optimize Our Delivery System – Build and operate the global system (people, process and technology) to acquire customers and deliver scalable, innovative, extensible and high quality tax and accounting services to our clients. This is expected to be an iterative system, subject to continuous measurement and improvement.
- Drive Growth Through Acquisitions – Lead the development of an innovative, data-driven acquisition engine to fuel expansion.
- Ensure Effective Corporate Planning – Establish company-wide strategic planning, market opportunity analysis, performance tracking, and investment prioritization to drive growth and profitability.
- Foster a Strong Culture & Talent Strategy – Attract top talent, build a high-performing team, and create an inclusive, engaging workplace.
- Align Business & Technology – Partner with engineering, product, and other stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
- Ensure Compliance & Risk Management – Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and proactively manage business risks.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Proven Leadership – Experience as either COO, GM of a large division, or Senior Executive at a tech-enabled services organization
- Operational Excellence – Experience designing, implementing and operating highly scalable, global business processes for a highly regulated and people intensive industry (preferably tax or accounting).
- Growth Leadership – Experience growing a P&L from $10M to at least $100M and 500 employees.
- Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership – Experience overseeing diverse business functions and implementing initiatives that drive efficiency, scalability, and company culture.
- Exceptional Communication – Ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Comfort with ambiguity, hypergrowth, and navigating uncharted territory in AI-driven accounting.
