Job Description

Omio is rapidly expanding its product offerings across all of its markets and is looking for leaders to grow its capabilities and improve the efficiency of its software development lifecycle.

Core to the success of the TPD [Tech, Product, and Design organization] is our people and our teams, and as such, we are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager who can support, coach, mentor and guide our teams to deliver TPD initiatives, projects, and programs.

Key Accountability

The Senior Delivery Manager will be accountable for supporting multiple software engineering teams in planning and delivering the corporate vision & objectives, both within TPD and across the wider business.

You will be part of the overall TPD team providing delivery management capability to key TPD missions and initiatives. 

This capability supports a variety of teams across multiple geographic locations by providing delivery management support and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of key initiatives, driving execution across cross-functional teams to deliver value to customers.

  • Coaching teams to be predictable, sustainable, value-driven, and flexible. Bring a strong sense of execution and ownership to the teams.

  • Supporting the team by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the team has clarity on vision and goals.

  • Maintaining team focus on committed goals, by removing blockers, and managing dependencies and risks.

  • Reporting on team progress towards goals, managing expectations and communications. 

  • Working across organizational & geographical boundaries, to help teams overcome obstacles and get the best value against constraints. 

  • Driving a continuous improvement mindset, and developing the teams to be self-sufficient.

A successful candidate will be:

  • Able to work well across different functions, geographies, and multinational backgrounds & able to travel.

A successful candidate will have:

  • Expert knowledge and experience (5+ Years) in building and scaling high-performing teams. 

  • Proven track record (5+ Years) of delivering multiple technical or digital projects and/or products meeting outcomes and driving business value.

  • Experience of working across the full Software Development Life Cycle in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrable experience applying Agile principles into real-world practices that work for the teams they support.

  • Proven track record of successful collaboration across functions and disciplines
