Job Description

Omio is rapidly expanding its product offerings across all of its markets and is looking to grow its capabilities and improve the efficiency of how we enable use of data to drive fast, accurate decision making across the business.

 

We are working through a major change programme designed to evolve the use of data across the organisation, focussing on quality and accessibility, and taking a product-led approach.

 

Core to our success is how we deliver for our stakeholders, and how we enable our teams to do so. As such, we are looking for a Delivery Manager who can support, coach, mentor and guide our teams to deliver initiatives, projects, and programs.

 

The Delivery Manager will be accountable for supporting the data tribe in planning and delivering workstreams across analytics and engineering. You will be part of the Data tribe, working closely with our analysts and engineers, providing delivery management support and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coaching teams to be predictable, sustainable, value-driven and flexible.

  • Support the team by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the team has clarity on vision and goals.

  • Maintaining team focus on committed goals, by removing blockers, managing dependencies and risks.

  • Tracking and reporting on team progress towards goals, managing expectations and communicating change.

  • Working across organisational & geographical boundaries, to help teams overcome obstacles and get the best value against constraints.

  • Drive a culture of effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Driving a continuous improvement mindset, and developing self-sufficient teams.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will be:

  • Passionate about continuous improvement.

  • An excellent stakeholder manager with great communication and presentation skills.

  • Enthusiastic, with a sense of pride in the work delivered and the quality of how it was delivered.

  • An open and honest individual who both welcomes and provides feedback in a way that is constructive and thoughtful.

  • Highly collaborative with fantastic facilitation skills at team and department level.

  • Comfortable with flexibility, ambiguity and changing priorities.

  • Value and outcome-driven, with a positive “can-do” attitude.

  • Motivated by coaching teams & individuals to deliver great outcomes.

 

A successful candidate will have:

  • Expert knowledge and experience (5+ Years) cultivating high performing teams utilizing Agile & Lean techniques.

  • Proven track record (5+ Years) of delivering multiple technical or digital projects and/or products meeting outcomes and driving business value.

  • Experience of working across the full Software Development Life Cycle in a dynamic fast paced environment.

  • Demonstrable experience applying Agile principles into real world practices that work for the teams they support.

  • Proven track record of successful collaboration across functions and disciplines
