At Acante, customer experience is at the forefront of everything we do. To help us build stable and reliable software systems that provide user-friendly customer experience, we're looking for a DevOps engineer who can be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing provisioning and release processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software engineering and be familiar with Terraform and Python, and will work with developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended.
Responsibilities
- Working with software engineers to automate and improve development and release processes across the CI/CD pipeline
- Implementing new development tools and infrastructure to reduce occurrence of errors
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Building monitoring alerts and incident response processes
- Performing root cause analysis of production errors and deploying software updates and fixes
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- At least 3 years of production-level experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar software engineering role
- Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
- Proficiency with AWS, Terraform, Git and GitHub workflows
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Python, SQL and GraphQL technologies
- Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit
