About the role:
- Collect data from arrays of optical components and subsystems including LEDs, photodetectors, transmitters, and receivers.
- Collect data using various optical and electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, digital communications analyzers, vector network analyzers (VNAs), optical power meters, power supplies.
- Process data according to instruction.
- Write reports.
Qualifications:
- Tech school or BS.
- Basic understanding of fiber optics and fiber optic communications.
- Familiarity with the physics of semiconductor devices (emitters and photodetectors).
- Basic understanding of RF design and overall testing
- Willingness to work in the lab is a must, patience and steady hands
- Flexible, quick learner, ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
