Job Description

As a Senior Analyst, you get a chance to work on some of the most impactful topics in the organisation across multiple teams such as Marketing, Product, Tech, Finance, and Commercial.

You will be contributing to our marketing & product strategies and influencing decisions at the highest levels to enhance customer experience and deliver growth and quantifiable financial impact.

A keen communicator, you will understand and take part in improving the full customer journey, highlighting strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for the business.

You will participate in defining our business metrics and KPIs by studying our product and marketing channels to identify trends and keep Omio ahead of the market.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Regularly share insights about our customer's behaviour & journeys to grow and optimise our marketing efforts as well as identify optimal communication channels and strategies
  • Define and analyse metrics that inform the success of marketing efforts (ROI, Retention, LTV, etc.) on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Marketing Teams to strategize, plan, execute, and measure Marketing projects every cycle
  • Partner cross-functionally across the organisation to inform on budgets, ROI measurement, and spend efficiency
  • Maintain and improve our marketing tracking and attribution systems (GTM, Adjust, and GA360)
  • Facilitate, support and inspire our company’s data-driven culture: produce reports that are actionable, dashboards that are diagnostic, and recommendations that enhance growth and enable informed decision-making.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a consumer e-commerce environment, of which at least 3 years in marketing analytics or in digital marketing in an analytics-heavy role
  • Degree in business, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or similar
  • Able to own, steer with collaborators, and deliver entire projects from an abstract business idea to a functioning data solution
  • Strong intuition for business drivers combined with a data-driven mindset 
  • Experience analysing customer journeys, and building cohort reports
  • Experience with A/B or multivariate testing whether in a marketing or product context
  • You have strong communication and collaboration in successful projects partnering with cross-functional stakeholders including marketing managers, product managers, and engineers
  • You are fluent in English; additional languages are always valued at Omio

You comfortably work with the following technologies/languages/software:

  • SQL of any variant (Postgres, Bigquery, etc)
  • Experience with mobile measurement platforms and web tracking tools (e.g. Braze, Appsflyer, Adjust, GA360/GA4, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Snowplow)
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, Azure or AWS
  • Ideally be familiar with tagging management systems like Google Tag Manager (GTM)
  • Knowledge of R or Python for automation and data science workflows
